Management Development

‘People don’t leave companies – they leave bad managers’. Are you retaining talented staff and getting the best from them? How good are your management skills or those of your management team?

I run a number of different Development programmes for managers. These can be organised for individuals or small groups with similar experience and run in-house through a series of short and spaced workshops. Participants benefit from this progressive approach by learning and practising new skills whilst having the opportunity to discuss ‘live’ issues with other managers. This approach grows self-awareness and confidence and provides a support network for ongoing development.

Development Workshops using Myers-Briggs Personality Type

Understanding your MBTI type is self-affirming and encourages cooperation with others. It helps individuals understand their own ‘type’ – it’s strengths and weaknesses and then appreciate valuable differences between people; differences that can be the source of much misunderstanding and miscommunication. Workshops can be designed to focus on particular areas of concern with the group such as, communication, emotional intelligence, conflict, and change.

Skills –based workshops on topics such as:

• Holding challenging conversations with people
• Coaching skills for managers
• Conducting effective appraisals
• Interviewing people
• Learn to manage time and be more productive
• Running effective meetings

All management development can be tailored to your specific requirements and other topics can be addressed on request.
