About Julie Horne

Julie Horne is an experienced business leader, entrepreneur, consultant and coach.

Following an early career in training and careers publishing, she co-founded a successful Cambridge Information research consultancy – Oakland Innovation Ltd. For 17 years she supplied business intelligence and consulting services to senior scientists, strategists and decision makers from business, universities and the public sector; and led a team of consultants and associates from the Cambridge Science Park offices.

Since selling this business in 2006 Julie has combined her broad business experience with world-recognised coaching techniques to offer business consulting and coaching. She works with senior executives and teams from a wide range of organisations such as GlaxoSmithKline, Bank of America, Marshall Aerospace, CASS Business School, City University, Cambridge University, Start-rite Shoes, Daimler Chrysler, SCDC and many smaller businesses across the region.

Julie is a fully qualified Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and also a member of the Association for Coaching. She is an NLP and a Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) accredited practitioner. Julie is a director for Cambridgeshire Enterprise Services Ltd and an 'Entrepreneur in residence' for Anglia Ruskin University.
